1991 FDA Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee reviews link between suicide and violence with Prozac.

Maria and her husband Gary were both pharmacists. Both were placed on Prozac about the same time for different reasons. Maria first attempted suicide on Prozac, stopped the drug, and began warning Gary of the dangers. He thought he was fine until one day out of the blue he stood in front of her and their four children while they were watching TV, and shot himself.
