This is a picture of my son, Ian, whose life was stolen on 31 July 2004 when he was just 11 years old.

I'm his Dad, David, and I took his life while  in a state of delirium-psychosis three weeks after starting the antidepressant Paxil (Seroxat) and two weeks after increasing my dosage from 40 to 60mg.  I was charged with first degree murder and judged to be not criminally responsible. 

I now have my full freedom back, but I can’t get my only son back. The pain of losing Ian, particularly this way, will never go away.
